Mount Pelion in Thessaly, Central Greece, is a unique destination combining mountain, sea, and genuine local traditions. Believed to be the home of the centaurs, Pelion is a mountain of history and legends going back to the Homeric Age. It is also well known for a natural beauty and architectural heritage that surprise even the most experienced traveler. Our Cottage
Melia, our traditional stone cottage is located in the village of Tsagarada, considered as one of the most beautiful mountain villages in Greece. Built amphitheatically on the steep and wooded slopes of East Pelion, this fairy-like village overlooks the Aegean Sea providing some breathtaking vistas. Tsagarada has been declared a conservation area by the Hellenic Ministry of Culture and strict building regulations prevent unseemly development. Melia goes back to the 19th century and is integral part of the local architectural heritage. Recently renovated, it includes modern amenities while retaining its historic charms. Surrounded by an orchard and off the busy roads, it assures ultimate privacy, piece and serenity. A stone paved veranda and a suspended timber deck offer spectacular mountain and sea views.
